International Day of People with a Disability

MCA Front Lawn, Circular Quay West, The Rocks
Good Vibrations returns to the MCA for one day only to mark International Day of People with a Disability, this Sunday 3 December from 10am - 5pm. People with disabilities, their families, friends and carers can interact with this multi-sensory installation, housed in a fully accessible caravan outside the MCA.

back in action dates electrician extension rain repairs
Good news!
The caravan has been sealed up tight against the rain, and the electrician came and went and was satisfied that everything is running smoothly again. So “Good Vibrations” is back on the MCA’s front lawn and fully operational.
The MCA has decided to extend the work’s exhibition on the front lawn by 1 week, so the new closing date is Tuesday 21 November! (of course, with Murphy’s Law in operation, that’ll be the last rain we have for months…)

On Friday morning, under ominously grey skies, the ribbon was cut, coffee and bikkies handed out, as the Good Vibrations caravan finally came home to the front lawn of the MCA. Loaded up with images, sounds and movies from all the locations we’ve visited, (not to mention bumper stickers from each place too!) the mobile art workshop has now become a fully fledged interactive art installation in its own right.
