At Kingsgrove North, teacher Betty Siourounis set us up in the quadrangle, where we welcomed dozens of curious students from the Support Unit and mainstream classes during the course of the day.
Our enthusiastic group of Kingsgrove North High School students rapidly regrouped into a low-tech movie crew, swooping through the school grounds on the hunt for interesting sounds and pictures.
Shot by a student on one of our collecting sessions the rubbish bin is a great kick drum…
…and the recycling makes a good snare drum, this gang the “loop gang” made all sorts of fine grooves…
